MY WIFE

MY WIFE is a layered exploration of identity, devotion, and the dualities within love, created through my signature fusion of digital image manipulation, collage, painting, and printing techniques. This unique 1-of-1 piece, produced within a plexiglass box, plays with language and symbolism, inviting multiple interpretations.

At the core of the composition, a woman's face merges with the classical elegance of a Greek statue—blurring the lines between the timeless and the contemporary, the personal and the universal. The bold typography reads MY WIFE, yet the red stroke transforms the "W" into an "L," shifting the phrase to MY LIFE—a subtle yet powerful interplay between love, commitment, and identity. In the background, the word ALWAYS lingers, reinforcing the idea of permanence, but also hinting at an unspoken tension through fragmented messages.

Scattered within the piece, handwritten phrases like "so many reasons why" and "happiness is the key" contrast with a fool’s hat placed over a smile—suggesting the complexities of love, where joy and absurdity often coexist. The layering of textures, from distressed backgrounds to bursts of vibrant color, creates a sense of emotional depth, as if love itself is a construction of beauty, chaos, and transformation.
